HISTORIC NEGRE 21. Bodegas Terroir al limit. DO Priorat

Grenache (70%) and Carignan (30%)

Aged for 6 months in cement tanks.

Terroir Històric Negre is a fruity and elegant wine. Its blend is dominated by red Grenache (3/4) accompanied by the temperamental Carignan. The grapes come from different vineyards in villages in Priorat. Terroir Históric pays tribute to the nine villages that paid tribute to the Prior of the Monastery of Escaladei, the monks who introduced viticulture to Priorat.

Tasting notes:

On the nose : it exudes aromas of ripe wild fruit and spices that are confirmed in the mouth. It is juicy and fresh , mineral and round, adorned with smoky and floral notes.
On the palate : Its acidity is moderate but sufficient to maintain the fruity sensation at its peak, so much so that some have dared to call it the Gamay of Priorat. It appreciates a good decanting.

Pairing: fresh sausages, cheeses, tortillas.
